RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME: Rico Abreu Capitalizes on Chaos to Cash $29,000 in Lernerville's Silver Cup

At the end of a dramatic 30 laps, it was Rico Abreu standing victorious at Lernerville Speedway's Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup on Tuesday night.

Coming from the eighth position, Abreu capitalized on Lap 18 incident when the lead duo of Tyler Courtney and James McFadden collided battling for the top spot. From there, Abreu still had to fend off a ferocious late-race charge from Corey Day and Brad Sweet in the closing laps.

Cashing the DURST Dice Roll bonus, Abreu added an extra $4,000 to his winnings to total a $29,000 check for his fourth Kubota High Limit Racing win of the season. His eighth-career win extends his hold as winningest driver in the young history of the series.
